Our first forest is a success story. Over 14,000 euros have been donated via crowdfunding. More than 2,200 native trees and shrubs were planted on 700 square metres in a small community in Brandenburg. Of these, 99% survived the hot summer. Thanks to a selection of site-adapted plants and well-thought-out soil preparation, we were able to observe growth of over half a metre in many individuals in just a few months. The Tiny Forest was equipped with measuring instruments in collaboration with the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development and is enjoying constant interest.
